Cooke Institute Delivers a Record Number of Summer Workshops

This summer, Cooke Institute (CI) facilitated a dozen professional development workshops joined by almost 300 attendees from all over New York City.  Drawing from our cadre of educational professionals from Cooke Institute and Cooke School, we offered specialized training on diverse topics such as Nuts and Bolts of Special Education, Questioning Strategies, Language Development, Trauma Sensitive Classrooms, Executive Functioning and Literacy, and Teaching Math to Students with Disabilities.

Participant reviews were stellar and many of the attendees were introduced to the Cooke School and Institute through these presentations.  Moving into fall, CI’s calendar is already filling up with additional requests for workshops.
