Cooke School and Institute Project Progress – March 2020

  • Classrooms are in progress!
  • Classrooms have hanging lights which provide direct and indirect lighting that are dimmable and zoned to allow for various light levels to accommodate a variety of tasks.
  • Each classroom has individual controls for monitoring the temperature.
  • All windows have solar shades to control direct sunlight and glare into the classroom.
  • Each classroom has a wall of millwork (built-in cabinets and shelves), which includes a combination of open and closed storage spaces, and the teachers’ desks.
  • Classrooms will have sheet vinyl flooring, which is highly durable and easy to clean.
