ABOUT THE EVENT

Help us celebrate the students, teachers and strong community that make Cooke our Constant. With your support, Cooke kids can thrive! We hope this event will entertain and inspire.

Here are some of the highlights:

Event kickoff: a cocktail-making segment from Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja of Shuka! After the year we have all been through, who doesn’t need a cocktail?

Highlights: Our fabulous teachers and parents will share stories from this past year—both challenges and successes! There will be a Faculty Q&A, video highlights from our fantastic dramatic arts team, and a lively fundraising session to support Cooke programming.

Focus on Students: As always, the reason we do any of this, is to benefit our students’ education. We hope you will join us for this special night…IN!

Cooke Faculty

For Their Dedication, Resilience and Creativity

[showhide type=”bio2″ more_text=”Read Full Bio” less_text=”Hide Bio”] Here at Cooke, we have the best faculty that any school could hope for! From building leadership teams to paraprofessionals, community inclusion assistants to related service providers, teachers of all kinds to nursing staff — we have an amazing staff whose dedication is second to none.

Over the last year, they showed over and over how flexible, creative, loving, practical and tirelessly committed they were. They wrote new lesson plans, created new teaching platforms, collaborated with parents and multi-tasked and proved that what seemed impossible, was indeed, possible!

Through their gracious dedication, our students flourished! On May 20, we honor our faculty. We honor their partnership with our families, and all the little (and big) ways they support students. Through their strength, students were reminded that they were connected to each other, and to the Cooke community through bonds that could not be broken. [/showhide]
