COOKE SCHOOL & INSTITUTE HONORS

Diane and
Todd Restivo

Cooke Parents
For both their generosity and their exemplification of the Cooke ideal, we are delighted to honor Diane and Todd Restivo.

Cooke School embraces and values the whole child in a joyful, inclusive environment where meaningful progress toward independence is realized. The Restivo family embodies this Cooke ideal of successfully navigating a path toward independence in a world that was not necessarily designed for their child.
“My husband and I wanted to provide our daughter with opportunities to be the best version of herself,” says Diane Restivo. “We discovered Cooke School when Maddie was in 7th grade. Because Cooke attends to the whole child and partners so closely with families, we can see her excelling academically, artistically, and socially. She’s kind and active and connected.”

“The principles of the school align with my own. At Cooke, our child is empowered to become a productive member of society,” says Todd Restivo, an experienced trial attorney and partner with Restivo & Murphy LLP. Over the years, the Restivos have generously given their time, leadership, and financial support to Cooke School. “We are grateful for all that Cooke has made possible for our daughter and feel compelled to do our part in extending that experience to other families.” As our founding families age retire from board service, Cooke School increasingly relies on emerging leaders like the Restivos.
