Internships

Lifelong learning has no limits
students in the workforce

Ready to take on the world!

Through partnerships with some of New York City's most well-known businesses and agencies, Cooke's Upper School and Transitions students (ages 14-21) participate in internships as a required part of the curriculum. These internships provide valuable work experience, helping students navigate professional environments, apply soft skills, and maintain independence through employment. By participating, students gain confidence in communication and self-advocacy, empowering them to join the workforce.

Corporations and organizations (large and small) have benefited from opening their doors to Cooke students. Students are paired with job sites that match their strengths and interests, giving them the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the organization. Watch this video to learn more.
